Michael Cocoran, Manager of Environmental Compliance; PPG Industries Inc.
Michael has been with PPG for over 30 years in a variety of engineering, safety, and environmental roles. He has worked in PPG’s commodity chemicals and coatings business both at manufacturing plants and in a group role. In his current role as PPG’s corporate environmental manager, he is responsible for the global environmental programs as well as the environmental component of PPG’s sustainability programs. This involves managing our global data system for collecting environmental data to track our progress in meeting our 2025 sustainability goals and leading PPG’s Resource Management Subcommittee that focuses on reducing PPG’s environmental footprint globally. Michael also chairs the American Coatings Association Environmental Committee and serve on the Allegheny County Air Quality and Waste Planning boards.
